The consultation is vital and can be done in person in my Chichester clinic or virtually if that suits you better. It gives us both the opportunity to meet and I will be able to find out all about you, what you are looking for, and we can discuss what can be done to achieve your ideal look. I'll explain the process from start to finish including how to look after your permanent makeup while its healing. If you wear makeup, come in with it done as you would usually wear it so I can get an idea of the look you like to go for.
For eyebrow treatments we will work together to find the best shape to suit your face and desires. I will measure, level and with an eyebrow pencil, draw brows on for you to make sure you are happy with the shape.
If you feel comfortable with the process and are happy to proceed, we can get you booked in and complete a patch test. A £50 deposit is required to secure your booking, this will be deducted from the final amount.
Although all the products I use are hypoallergenic, a patch test is a legal requirement and it's best to be safe. I can perform the patch test at the consultation or if you live far away, I can post the patch test equipment and instructions to you. If you forget about the test once carried out then this is a great indication that all is well, however if you notice anything different please let me know so we can discuss options.
This must be completed at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
We start this appointment by completing a full medical health form and I will apply a topical anaesthetic to the treatment area so it has time to work it's magic and numb the area before the procedure. We will then recap on the consultation and I will pencil on the desired style of makeup ready for your approval. Together we will choose the colour and only after you have checked and are happy to procced will I get you to read and sign the consent form. Your comfort is my priority so throughout the treatment I will continue to apply anaesthetic to ensure the procedure is pain free and as pleasant as can be (It's not unheard of for clients to fall asleep during the procedure!). I finish by applying a pigment seal which calms, soothes and nourishes while helping to enhance moisture and colour retention during the healing process.
At this appointment we will repeat the stages above but only filling in gaps and touching up areas that are patchy or faint after the initial procedure, ensuring you are happy with the overall shape and colour.
Permanent makeup will last 2-3 years but we recommend having an annual colour boost to keep the colour looking as vivid and fresh as possible.
When you’ve invested in beautiful permanent makeup, you’ll want to keep it looking their best for as long as possible so good aftercare is essential for making your makeup last. It is important to keep them clean and dry and follow the advice given to you. You will be given all after care advice and a vitamin A&D cream which you should apply to clean and dry skin 3 times a day. You should avoid applying makeup to the treated area during the healing process which is approximately 5 days.
A colour boost is necessary to keep your permanent eyebrows looking their best. Just as permanent hair colour fades, so does permanent makeup. Over time, colour in the pigments can break down due to natural and environmental factors such as sun exposure, skin care products, treatments, ageing and medical conditions. This is why we recommend a colour boost every 12-18 months to keep your eyebrows looking defined and fresh.
Annual colour boosts only require one appointment which will be half the price of your initial procedure if booked within 18 months.

The initial procedure itself can take between 1.5 - 2 hours. For your first appointment, please allow up to 3 hours, this enables us to take our time to draw and agree the perfect shape, procedures to be explianed and questions to be answered. For your touch up appointment please allow 1.5 hours.
Permanent Makeup will not only give you beautiful long lasting makeup, it can make a life changing difference to those who have sparse eyebrows or no hair, have difficulty applying makeup themselves, reduce time on daily makeup routines and give you 100% smudge proof and waterproof makeup.
Permanent Makeup is long lasting and will remain in the skin for years depending on your skin type, lifestyle and care. I use high quality ink pigments so your colour will only fade to a lighter colour of itself. I recommend booking a 12 - 18 month Colour Boost appointment to keep your shape and colour looking fresh and avoid having to have a full new treatment years later.
It is safe, we work in a very hygienic, safe and sterile environment and everything that comes into contact with the client is sterile and then disposed of correctly. Needles and microblades are pre-sterilised and fully disposable and a new one is used for every treatment. All ink pigments are hypo-allergenic, they meet all of the FDA & EU Regulations for safety and are also vegan and cruelty free. And although allergic reactions are rare, we will also perform a patch test to rule out any allergic reaction to our products being used.
There is no age limit!
Your skin's tone and thickness are taken into account so there is no reason why older clients can't benefit, in fact, mature woman may have more reasons than any to opt for permanent make up!
I will apply a topical numbing cream to the skin before the treatment takes place. This numbs the area making the treatment more comfortable. You may feel a slight discomfort whereas some people don't feel it & have been known to fall asleep!
The treated area will be very sensitive for a few days and can take up to 2 weeks to heal. I will provide you with an aftercare pack and instructions which must be followed to ensure your new treatment is looked after and stays at its very best.
You will be at the centre of the whole process, we will work with you to find the most achievable natural shape and colour to match your hair colour and skin tone.
Immediately after a treatment the colour will be intense and appear darker than the final result. There may also be some swelling and redness which will settle quickly.
During the consultation you will have the opportunity to discuss what it is you would like to achieve. With my knowledge I can help you decide what colours, shapes and styles would best suit your natural colouring, features, image and style. The consultation process also gives us the chance to identify
any possible contraindications and enables you to make an informed choice.
Body tattoos traditionally tend to last forever, meanwhile, the pigments for semi-permanent makeup usually last up to three years or so and slowly fades in that time. For permanent makeup, the pigment is placed into the skin at only a third of the depth of a traditional tattoo, therefore, the colour is much softer.
Yes! I just recommend that you apply an antiviral cream such as Zovirax 5 days prior to and 5 days after treatment.
Ideally it would be best to have your permanent makeup treatment first, if this isn't possible, I recommend you wait at least 6 weeks after to ensure you're fully healed.
I ask for a £50 deposit, this can be made anytime via bank transfer or in cash during the consultation. The remaining balance will be due in full on the day of your first treatment either by cash or card.
Not at all! The initial procedure costs can vary and to keep it looking it's best we recommended you get your makeup touched up every 1-3 years. Permanent makeup needs to have faded at least 50-70% in order to be topped up, the timeline for this varies for each person.
With any procedure there are always risks of infection. I follow strict a strict cleaning regime and all needles are sterilised and single use. Aftercare instructions will be given to you prior to the procedure and must be adhered to to minimise any risk of infection during the healing stages.
Many people can benefit from permanent makeup. Some may just want a subtle enhancement to their natural features, whilst others may desire a more dramatic look. It can be truly valuable to those with impaired vision, an unsteady hand or allergies to conventional makeup. Those that lead an active lifestyle and wish to look their best during activities such as swimming or going to the gym may also benefit. Many women can feel dissatisfied with their sparse eyebrows, or also others who have lost hair due to alopecia or chemotherapy. Some just want to look their best at all times or simply don’t have time to apply makeup every morning.
Anyone who does not meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years. Anyone with a serious medical condition may require a doctor’s letter. Pregnant clients are unfortunately unsuitable for treatments.
Unfortunately, we are not insured to perform any permanent makeup treatment on anybody that is pregnant.
If you are breast feeding you can get permanent makeup but we ask you to express 12-24 hours before your appointment and you discard any milk produced from 24 hours from having the anaesthetic.
