We spend a lot of time looking at people’s eyes and a great pair of brows can act like the perfect frames. Eyebrows accentuate the eyes, bring out the colour, draw focus to your face in all the right places and they enable us to fully express emotions.
Microblading simulates natural hair strokes using a specially designed handheld blade, called a microblade, which implants fine strokes of pigment in the same direction of your natural hair growth. This is perfect for people who have over plucked or thin eyebrows, have sparse areas or wish to replace lost tails and thicken thinner brows.
This technique uses a top of the range machine to implant either soft or solid shading to give a natural, even and overall colour to the eyebrows. Perfect to define shape, thicken brows and correct asymmetries. Ideal if you use powder or pencil on your brows.
The most popular choice as this is a combination of hair strokes and powder. The microblading gives a hair simulation affect while the powder will add depth, making the brows more 3D and very realistic.
Ombré brows are designer brows that creates a fuller looking powdery brow resembling make up. They are lighter at the front and darker at the tail.
Block brows involves creating the chosen shape, which is then outlined and shaded in. They are most 'dramatic' style, suitable for ladies who want to look as if they have pencilled their eyebrows in perfectly on a daily basis.
A colour boost is necessary to keep your permanent eyebrows looking their best. Over time, colour in the pigments can break down due to natural and environmental factors such as sun exposure, skin care products, treatments, ageing and medical conditions. This is why we recommend a colour boost every 12-18 months to keep your eyebrows looking defined and fresh.
If you have had permanent makeup applied previously that you are not happy with, whether it has poor placement, the incorrect shape or style for you or if the colour has faded badly to an orange or blue, then call me for a consultation to see how I can help. I advise that the existing pigment is no less than 50% faded in colour, otherwise a correction may not be possible. If I don't feel I can correct your makeup I may recommend the removal of pigment before we can get you the brows you desire.
Treatment prices vary depending on your needs, skin type and style chosen. Contact us for a free no obligation consultation to discuss the look you'd love to achieve. All treatments include a pigment sealing treatment, aftercare kit and A&D ointment.
