Tiny tattoos, also known as micro tattoos or fine line tattoos, are subtle, delicate and minimalist artwork using fine lines. They're not only beautiful and unique, but they're also incredibly versatile. Tiny tattoos can be placed virtually anywhere on the body and can be easily covered up if needed.

A tiny tattoo is no different to any other tattoo.... just tiny!
Single needle tattoos are traditionally small, delicate or fine created by using a single needle cartridge.
Yes, however they may need a top up session 4-6 weeks after the initial tattoo. We use the same ink as traditional tattooist which makes them just as permanent although there are other factors which determine how long the tattoo will last, such as what area is tattooed, medication, lifestyle etc
It’s very rare for a tattoo to get infected and 90% of the time is just a normal part of the healing process. If you are concerned please seek medical attention and inform your tattoo artist.
Don’t worry, this is perfectly normal but if the redness and swelling persists for more than a couple of days or if it gets worse and begins to feel more tender, this could be a cause for concern.
When a tattoo is fresh, it leaks a substance called plasma and sometimes even a little blood. This will collect in the wrap over the tattoo, (Clingfilm or second skin) once the tattoo has been washed for the first time, there shouldn’t be any more plasma leaking. Once the tattoo is exposed to the open air, it generally dries out.
Not at all! The initial procedure costs can vary and to keep it looking it's best we recommended you get your makeup touched up every 12-18 months. At Tiptop Permanent Makeup, if you come back to me within 18 months you will only pay half of whatever you paid for your initial procedure, even if you got it on a special offer!
With any procedure there are always risks of infection. I follow strict a strict cleaning regime and all needles are sterilised and single use. Aftercare instructions will be given to you prior to the procedure and must be adhered to to minimise any risk of infection during the healing stages.
Many people can benefit from permanent makeup. Some may just want a subtle enhancement to their natural features, whilst others may desire a more dramatic look. It can be truly valuable to those with impaired vision, an unsteady hand or allergies to conventional makeup. Those that lead an active lifestyle and wish to look their best during activities such as swimming or going to the gym may also benefit. Many women can feel dissatisfied with their sparse eyebrows, or also others who have lost hair due to alopecia or chemotherapy. Some just want to look their best at all times or simply don’t have time to apply makeup every morning.
Anyone who does not meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years. Anyone with a serious medical condition may require a doctor’s letter. Pregnant clients are unfortunately unsuitable for treatments.
Unfortunately, we are not insured to perform any permanent makeup treatment on anybody that is pregnant.
If you are breast feeding you can get permanent makeup but we ask you to express 12-24 hours before your appointment and you discard any milk produced from 24 hours from having the anaesthetic.
